Assured Events Ltd ("AEL") Booking Terms & Conditions

• Definitions and interpretation
  These booking conditions set out our obligations to you and your commitments to us when you book conference tickets with us and these, together with the information contained in the booking confirmation email/letter, form the basis of our contract with you.
  (i) "we" "us" and "our" are references to Assured Events Ltd ("AEL").
  (ii) "you", "your" or "party" means all persons (or any of them including any possible Lead Customer) named on the booking (and persons added or substituted at a later date).
  (iii) "Force Majeure" means any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control or the control of the supplier concerned.
  (iv) "in writing" means by facsimile, email or letter.
• Bookings
  (i) Once you have booked and made the full payment we will confirm your booking by sending a confirmation email/letter, at which point a binding contract between us will come into existence. This confirmation email/letter will be received within 2 working days. By making your booking with us, you will be regarded as having read and understood our booking terms & conditions and to have actually done so before a contract between us came into existence.
  (ii) A booking will only be regarded as complete once payment has been made. If funds, once cleared are then returned, the booking cannot be regarded as complete.
  (iii) Your registration to attend the conference may only be changed, replaced or refunded at our absolute discretion. We do, however, welcome substitute delegates attending in your place (if you are unable to attend) provided that we have prior notice of the name of your proposed substitute and have received payment in full.
• Prices
  (i) Prices for attending a conference are set out on the relevant registration booking form on the relevant web site. We reserve the right to withdraw discounted prices at any time. Prices may be subject to change from time to time.
  (ii) All prices quoted are in GB Pounds Sterling, unless indicated otherwise.
• Special requests
  If you have any special requests such as dietary, access issues or any kind of special needs, you must advise us at the time of booking. Although we will make every endeavor to accommodate any reasonable requests, we regret we cannot guarantee all and every request will be met. Some special requests may incur an additional charge which, where possible, we will specify on your confirmation email/letter. However, some requests may require time to cost up and will therefore be conveyed on a subsequent email/letter.
• Website and quote descriptions
  All website and quote descriptions are made in good faith and every care is taken to ensure their accuracy. However, errors may occasionally occur. We cannot accept any liability for any errors or omissions except where these have arisen due to our negligence or that of any our employees (as long as they were acting in the course of their employment at the time). We reserve the right to make changes to and correct errors in our website and quotes at any time.
• Changes and cancellations by us
  (i) Occasionally, we have to make changes to the event arrangements and in extreme circumstances, cancel an event altogether. Whilst we always endeavor to avoid changes and cancellations, we must reserve the right to do so.
  (ii) Most changes are minor for example a change in the timing of the event; a change in the venue (where the event or content itself has not changed) or a change of accommodation to accommodation of the same or higher standard within the same destination city (if part of the package).
  (iii) In extremely rare circumstances a significant change or cancellation may have to be made to a confirmed booking. If we have to make a significant change or cancel, we will tell you as soon as possible. In the event of a complete cancellation we will refund your payment in full (subject to clause 8 below).
• Changes and cancellations by you
  Our cancellation fees are outlined in the table below:

  If you wish to cancel all or any part of your booking, you should advise us immediately by telephone (0161 428 1115) followed by confirmation in writing. We will make a cancellation charge on the scale shown.
• Emails:
  Any ideas, proposals or recommendations contained within or attached to this email, that have been generated or created by Assured Events are delivered in confidence and remain the property of Assured Events. Use or partial use of such ideas, proposals or recommendations will be considered a legal breach of copyright and will be treated accordingly.
• Force majeure
  Except where otherwise expressly stated in these Booking Conditions, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations under our contract with you is prevented or affected by Force Majeure. Additionally we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where you suffer any damage, injury, expense or loss of any description as a result of Force Majeure.
• Law and Jurisdiction
  (i) Assured Events Ltd is not responsible for the content of the events managed on behalf of our clients. The material covered is supplied by the clients themselves or by third parties. You are advised to verify the accuracy of any information before relying on it. The content is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind (express or implied) and Assured Events Ltd does not (and cannot) accept any liability arising from any inaccuracy or omission in the Content or, to the fullest extent permitted by law, arising from any infringing, defamatory or otherwise unlawful material in the Content.
  (ii) To the fullest extent permitted by law, Assured Events Ltd shall not be liable under or in connection with this agreement, in contract, tort (including, but not limited to negligence) or howsoever arising, for any loss of profits, business or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
  (iii) This Agreement and all matters arising out of it shall be construed and governed according to English law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
